The RHPD Mentor Program

The mentor program was established as an initiative to help ease the transition for new officers at the Rock Hill Police Department and to make them feel more at home.

The mentors are assigned their new hires based on common interest and life experiences before the new officer even begins employment with the agency.

The mentors are there to answer any questions the new officers may have regarding the City of Rock Hill, policy and procedures, or as simple as how to polish their boots.

Most mentors participating in the program are former FTOs and are veteran officers of the department.
